The design and manufacturing of PneumaCell™ fully comply with the ISO 17357-1:2014, yet go beyond its requirements. Additionally, PneumaCell™ adheres to the guidelines of OCIMF and PIANC to comprehensively imporve fender performance.
This report provides a detailed breakdown of PneumaCell™ (Pneumatic Fender) performance test into three parts. These three parts directly determine the safety performance, enabling users to intuitively and logically understand the superiority of PneumaCell™.
Verifying the pneumatic fender energy absorption, reaction force and compression performance comply with ISO 17357-1:2014 requirements.
The hydrostatic-pressure test shall be performed for 10 min at the hydrostatic pressure shown as “Test pressure at 0 % deflection” in ISO 17357 “Pneumatic 50 Fender Pressure Requirements” or “Pneumatic 80 Fender Pressure Requirements” and there shall be no leakage of water and no defects during the test.
After completing the above “Hydrostatic-Pressure Test”, continue to inject water into the test fender to measure the water pressure bursting value of the test fender.
